From one teacher to another
Vietnam's the lesson where the Cold War stops being a story about two superpowers and starts being a story about a country that split apart over what its own government was doing. I built this one to hold both halves: what the war was actually about in terms of containment, and why it became the fight that changed how Americans thought about trusting that story going forward.
It's the next entry in the Cold War unit, and I wrote it so a class can spend real time on the domestic side of the war instead of rushing past it.
The activity's answer key is here, the teacher guide handles pacing, and the quiz and exit ticket both run as self-grading Google Forms, so there's nothing left to hand-grade before the bell.
